Certified Metapsychology Trainer & Technical Director

Nancy Day is a Certified Trauma Specialist with the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists (ATSS) and a Certified Advanced Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) Facilitator & Trainer with Applied Metapsychology International.

Her interest in trauma resolution started early at age eleven when her younger brother was diagnosed with diffuse brain damage and mild mental retardation, which her family later determined resulted from standard medical procedure in straightening his club feet and neglect in hospital care.

After a brief study of traditional psychology, Nancy began looking for alternative methods of trauma resolution which worked more quickly and more effectively.  She found what she was looking for with Applied Metapsychology and Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR).  Although TIR cannot reverse the organic brain damage her brother sustained at a very young age, she found it to work wonders for many traumatized individuals by permanently eliminating the negative force of their traumatic experiences. Nancy travels internationally to deliver professional skills training in TIR and related techniques.  No prior training or education is required to participate in 4-day TIR and Life Stress Reduction trainings.

The unique session protocol and structured techniques of Applied Metapsychology make this approach unlike anything else.  The simplicity of the method makes it easy to learn and apply.  Workshop graduates immediately begin using what they learn in the 4-day TIR and Life Stress Reduction Workshops and are often amazed with the results their clients experience.  Post-workshop internships, which may be done long distance, provide support and assistance for newly-trained TIR and LSR practitioners who want to perfect their skills as quickly as possible and/or who want to become Certified TIR Facilitators.

Nancy's main focus currently is to provide trauma resolution professional skills training to mental health professionals.
